Port Walk

Our experienced guide will show you through the Maritime Museum and then the Colonial Gallery at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG), where you will enjoy an interpretation of some of the important colonial paintings of Hobart, whaling and the sea.

You will then explore the port area via Hunter Street (the old causeway to Hunter Island ).

Continuing to Victoria and Constitution Docks, you will see the Maritime Museum 's floating exhibit, the 1867 trading ketch May Queen. The tour will end at the Abel Tasman Memorial in Salamanca Place .

The May Queen will be open for inspection at various times (closed in winter).
